How the Ariel Group Australia is helping a major professional services company improve the success of their geographically disperse teams.
A multinational professional services firm operates as a network of member firms which are separate legal entities in individual countries. It has over 200,000 employees in over 700 offices around 150 countries in the world. It provides assurance (including financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services to companies.
Once a year a particular group of people who work together but are dispersed over the Australian geography get together to share insights and new developments. Some of these colleagues were pretty assertive and others were not that forthcoming with their point of view although they had valuable insights and ideas to express to the wider group.
It is much easier to sit and listen rather than say something and get challenged.
