Leading with Presence links the best practices from actor training with specific, actionable business behaviours to develop the leaders who will drive your competitive advantage. Leaders learn how to draw on their own unique history and style and use the power of storytelling to inspire trust, promote collaboration, and galvanize the people around them to follow their lead and reach breakthrough results.

Day One

Day one builds the skills and behaviours required to be a successful leader and communicator, emphasising peer feedback, listening and coaching.

  • Introduction to Leadership Presence Skills with the PRES Model: Present, Reaching Out, Expressive, Self-Knowing
  • Expanding Communication Style through Expressiveness: Participants learn how to achieve greater impact by exploring a wider and more adept use of emotion, vocal and physical flexibility, spontaneity, passion, energy and empathy.
  • Connecting and Communicating Authentically: Participants reflect on and present defining personal and professional milestones, practicing delivery, honing listening skills, and providing honest and helpful feedback to others

Day Two

Day two focuses on applying the skills learned on day one to specific workplace situations.

  • Leveraging Storytelling for Business Communication: Participants develop and incorporate personal stories into business communications to present and connect in a more compelling way, practicing different scenarios that require physical and vocal variety to get key messages across.
  • Applying Leadership Presence at Work: Participants identify the applicability of different stories to client, colleague and other leadership communications and practice skills in oneon-one, group, facilitative and presentation contexts.
  • Application and Action Planning: Transitioning the concepts from the workshop to daily life and developing a personal action plan for continued improvement.
